Chocolate Oats with Strawberries

Breakfast! YAY!!! Easily my favorite meal of the day. I love coming home after a hard work out to fill up on all kinds of goodness. During the week I tend to keep it simple, but filling. I love Rolled Oats. They are a fantastic source of dietary fiber, Thiamine and iron. Plus they are slow digesting so quite simply they keep us fuller for longer 🙂

Today I was feeling like something Chocolatey, now as women dont we all feel like chocolate sometimes? This was so simple and easy and if your anything like me you had almost all the ingredients at your fingertips. I like to make sure there is always an ubundance of fruit and veg at my beck and call.

So for this Chocolatey breakfast that fights the mid morning munchies all you do is:

RECIPE

  • 1/4 cup oats
  • 150grams Plain Chobani
  • 20grams Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
  • Five Strawberries and a handful of Blueberries
  • Cinnamon

Method

Pour oats into a bowl and cover with water, place in the microwave and zap  it for about 2-3 minutes. Until cooked. Remove from microwave and stir. If its to dry add more water and return to microwave for 20 seconds intervals.

Place in fridge to cool down.

In a separate bowl stir together Chobani and Chocolate Whey Powder.

Once oats are nice and cold stir in the chobani mixture. Top with sliced strawberries  and blueberries and a sprinkling on cinnamon.

Nom nom nom!
