Low Calorie Turkey Meat Loaf

Good morning everyone! I was very slack last night in uploading my latest dinner creation. More than likely It was becuase I was to busy sitting on my lounge in contentment after my Turkey meatloaf that was almost the best thing I had ever eaten.

Funny thing is that I hardly ever use Turkey but since Ive decided as a new years resolution to try to tone and muscle up a little Ive been on the hunt for a good source of protein that differs from Chicken. Now I love chicken, but when you eat it day in and day out it kinda gets boring.

So I found some Turkey mince in my local Deli and decided a nice mini one serve Turkey meat loaF would be awesome. I didn’t have a recipe that I felt would tick all the boxes in terms of low sugar, low salt etc so I just threw some things in a bowl and WOW!



ONE SERVE: CALORIES PER SERVE (including roasted tomatoes and brocolinni) approx 254calories

120grams Lean Turkey Mince

1/2 Grated Red apple

1 Teaspoon of tomato relish

1 Garlic Clove

Sprinkle mixed Herbs

BBQ Sauce



Put everything into either a food processor or a bowl (this comes together better if a processor is used buts its not essential) and blend up!

When it is all incorporated place into a greased one cup ramekin.

Place in oven and cook at 200c until cooked through – firm to touch.

I served this with oven roasted vine ripened tomatoes and a bunch of steamed brocolinni.
